with her new book

Magic of the Pearls

at Uncorked, 650 Union Boulevard, Totowa, NJ 07512,

5pm on Friday May 6th, 2022.

Ms. Conforti, a graduate of Villanova University was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. For many years she ran a Paterson Arts Series at the Ivanhoe Wheelhouse in the Historic District of Paterson. She also participated in The Great George Festival, and most recently organized a Children’s Art show at the Paterson Museum in 2020. She has also been active with the Paterson Library as a Board of Advisors.

Acclaim for Ms. Conforti appearing at the Oradell Library.

“Thank you again for such a great program last night. We received many compliments for such a rare and intriguing program. We also enjoyed the lively question-and-answer session and the literary ‘celebrities’ who came out to see and hear your wonderful program.”

“It was great having you perform WCW’s Paterson, Book 1 at Oradell Public Library !!!”

John J Trause, Director, Oradell Library, NJ.

“Daniel, I too thought this reading was excellent! Both readers really brought Paterson the work to life & made it accessible, rather than daunting (as a lengthy poem like that can appear to be). Because of their efforts, I feel like I know more about WCW’s great poem & about WCW, as a writer — & story-teller! Your discussion of Paterson the city, Newark, and WCW very much enhanced the event. Thank you so much for this wonderful program.
My best, D. Rowland.”

“The best compliment you can give me is forwarding this on to a friend and meet and greet Christine Conforti on 5/6/22′ says producer Daniel P Quinn.

“Of half dozen live poetry readings that come to mind, your PATERSON was the best.” K. Kramer

Rejection; 3 Awards go figure or la bella figura

Good morning,This was a $7,500 project grant for my Italy and Newark short film, so this becomes another gap in our operating support in 2022

“We apologize for the delay in the announcement of the 2022 Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum. The Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum, along with its sponsors, the National Italian American Foundation and the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, is pleased to announce its 2022 grant awardees. This year 280 national and international applications were received requesting grants, a figure greatly exceeding prior years. This made the selection process very difficult. Several exceptional grant requests could not be approved due to the limited number of grants available. The committee wholeheartedly thanks all the grant applicants for their willingness to commit so much of their time, effort and creativity to help preserve the Italian American heritage”

.On the other hand, we salute and thank these newest Festival’s for recognizing the value of our work in Bali, Indonesia, Philadelphia, and twice in Rome too. 3 steps forward and a leap backwards.

Review: [Untitled]

The Bacchae by Euripides The Tower by Hofmannsthal

Review by: Daniel P. Quinn

Theatre Journal, Vol. 33, No. 1 (Mar., 1981), pp. 111-112

…Viennese court were seductively realized in Aulenti’s massive design. The vertical audience perspective displaced any no- tion of a proscenium stage. It was as if Ronconi were trying to realize the languidness of a dream in a work that seemed capable of suggesting and surviving this styled production. DANIEL P. QUINN New York…

Award winning Short-Plays-to-long-remember includes two plays by Daniel P Quinn. They now are also published in American Phantasmagoria ( in a new edition.

This includes THE ROCKING CHAIR; FANGS TO RICHES: and The Rise and Fall of Gloria Vanderbilt as GLORIA V.

These short plays were called “audacious” and provocative.  Henry Haun of PLAYBILL said they were ” a gold mine” of new American plays in 2011 as well.

Spring to life with Italy, Off-Broadway, “organized labor”; LaScala or Paterson, New Jersey in my books.

While this has been a prolonged fight, it does seem to alleviate the robber baron tax cut djt signed. Equivalency trumps the Republicans at long last.
