danielpquinn | Newark, NJ Numbers encumber Christmas especially in media driven America. My Parents, my Aunts and Uncles are all gone now. All of my cousins are in quarantine or far flung on Long Island or California, whom I have not seen in years. Since I live alone in a high rise building, I make extra food and give portions away to the security guard or a few neighbors as best I can. In an odd way, I am in deeper contact with The New York Times as well. In a cyberatic age that counts for something but Christmas transcends time and place to live in a memory of past and present. Christmas is hope, Too bad trump cant even conjure up his better Scrooge. Merry Christmas to all in 2021… |
